C-VALLEY Sails Through Wind and Waves

In April 2021, Tsinghua University celebrated its 110th anniversary. The Tsinghua Alumni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition collaborated with the centennial national brand to introduce a special category in the creative design group of the 5th Tsinghua Alumni Innovation Competition.

The "Tsinghua University 110th Anniversary Commemorative Pull-Back Shoes" Special Competition was launched. C-Valley utilized its designs to narrate Chinese culture and articulate its worldview through patterns. It aimed to tell C-Valley's story of perseverance, whether in calm or stormy weather, and to inscribe creative design into the history of the 110th-anniversary celebrations.

The shoes featured reflective and heat-cut "110" on the outside of the toe cap and heel strap to commemorate the 110th anniversary. The reflective material also enhanced the safety of the wearer, while the tongue boasted three-dimensional printing of the bell-shaped seal of the Tsinghua logo.

Additionally, the tongue displayed three-dimensional printing of the Tsinghua school motto, "Self-discipline and Social Commitment," with "Self-discipline" on the left foot and "Social Commitment" on the right foot.
